Tartine bread

By Chad Robertson

Accurately described as a bread bible

Ultimately, it was this book that taught me how to make sourdough successfully

I really did read a number of books when I was learning to make sourdough. But this one took such a straightforward approach and explained the steps so clearly, it allowed me to get on and get to know the dough, how it feels when it is proved (and over-proved!). The result? Delicious sourdough. It also has a recipe for nettle sourdough pizza which, as you can imagine, is a winning combination around here.
